Vali Sakellarides
Managing Partner, Attorney at Law, LLM, MSc IT
Vali is an Attorney at Law with a background in Mathematics (University of Athens – 1988) and holds an MSc in Information Technology from UCL of the University of London (1990), a Law degree from the University of Athens (1999) and an LLM in Telecommunications and Computer Law from Queen Mary College of University of London (2010).
Vali has extensive experience in IP prosecution and litigation in Greece and the EUIPO (Key User). She is also an Examiner at FORUM for domain name cases.
She has served as Chair of INTA Legislation and Regulation Subcommittee for Europe and Central Asia (2012-2013); Vice Chair of INTA Legislation and Regulation Committee (2014-2015); Member of INTA Trademark Offices Practice Committee (2016-2019); Member of INTA Bulletin Committee (2020-2021); currently Member of INTA Harmonization of Trademark Law and Practice Committee.
Member of MARQUES Athens Conference Organizing Team in 2012, past member of INTA Anti-counterfeiting Committee, published articles in the Bulletin of INTA and MARQUES. Author of Trademarks in Greece in “Trademarks Throughout the World” by Edward Fennessy, Thomson Reuters 2013; Domain Names in Greece in “McGrady on Domain Names – Global Guide”, LexisNexis, May 2007-2011, by Paul McGrady; Trademarks in Greece in “Trademarks 2019” and “Trademarks 2020” of ‘Getting the Deal Through’ (Lexology).

Dimitris Prokopiou
Attorney at Law
Dimitris graduated from the Law School of University of Athens in 1987 and has been working as a lawyer in the field of trademarks and patents and civil law litigation for over 30 years. Dimitris has been a member of the firm since 1988 and closely cooperated with John Sakellarides gaining valuable experience.
Giorgios Psarros
Attorney at Law
Giorgos graduated from the Law School of University of Athens and has been a Member of the Bar of Athens since 1983. Giorgos has wide expertise for more than 35 years in matters of civil and penal law. He has been co-operating with our firm since 2001 in penal law cases for counterfeit products, unfair competition, infringement of trade marks and IP rights, representing successfully companies in counterfeiting cases before the penal and civil courts.
Konstantinos Goutsioukostas
Counsel, LLM
Konstantinos holds a degree from School of Law of Essex University (2009) and an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Leeds in the UK (2010). He handles patents and trademarks and attends INTA meetings.
Olga Giagiakou
Manager of International Department of Patents and Trademarks
Olga joined our office in 1999 and holds a degree in Greek History and Archaeology from the University of Athens (1997). Since 2002 she has been the manager of the International Department. She is an experienced trademark and patent agent and attends INTA regularly.
Foteini Tsempentzi
Manager of the Greek Trademarks and Patents Department.
Foteini joined the firm in 1994 and has extensive experience in trademark searches, trademark prosecution and deals directly with the Greek Trademark Office.
Fanny Matsinopoulou
Trademarks and Patents Agent
Fanny graduated from University of Athens, Faculty of Law, Political Science Department and handles trademark, designs and patents prosecution. Fanny has been working at the office since 2016.
Kostas Adamopoulos
Patent and Trademark Administrator
Kostas has a degree in International and European Political Economy from the department of International and European Economic Studies of Athens University of Economics and Business (2000). Kostas joined our firm in 2005 and is a patent and trademark administrator.
Andreas Goutsioukostas
IT and Marketing Manager
IT Manager, Trademarks and Designs Administrator, Andreas holds a degree in Information Technology (Omiros) and joined our firm in 2020. Andreas is handling designs and trademarks.
